Michael Gross is the President of Dividend America Mortgage and oversees operation of the company. He makes use of his vast experience in the real estate industry to provide exceptional service as a Real Estate Advisor and Mortgage Consultant.
Michael began his professional career in the floor covering industry in 1983, and he quickly developed the company into an interior decoration firm. He continued taking on new projects until becoming a general contractor in 1988. Never content, he earned his license as a realtor.
Eventually, Michael launched his own appraisal company and became known for quality appraisals that always adhered to the highest professional standards in the industry. He has been a consultant for large companies such as Option One Mortgage, Countrywide Mortgage, State Farm Insurance, Land America, Premis, and eAppraiser.net. He has written more than twenty nationally published articles on ethics and morality in real estate that were distributed to more than 45,000 realtors and real estate appraisers across the nation.
Recently Michael was featured in a television interview about the credit crisis and he currently consults with the Georgia Real Estate Investors Association with regard to issues of ethics and morality in real estate. Michael is the author of this blog, Real Estate Revloutions and two other blogs; Small Commercial Expert – Cash Flow Monsters! (http://smallcommercialexpert.com) and Brains Not Included (http://brainsnotincluded.wordpress.com) a political blog.

 Accomplishments:
Held training seminars for Insurance Adjusters with Fireman’s Fund and State Farm Insurance to teach insurance adjusters the proper way to adjust for the repair of fire and water damaged homes.
Sold real estate for 4 years culminating in the promotion to sales manager at a 23 agent firm.
Rehabilitated and built over 40 homes as a general contractor and owner of Vision Design Group.
Advised over 20 investors during 12 years as a Real Property Appraiser. The most successful of these investors amassed a portfolio of more than 30 homes with a positive yearly cash flow of more than $5,000 per home and an aggregate 50% equity in the entire investment portfolio.
Developed the Valuation 20/10 Real Property Appraisal Process.
Wrote more than 45 articles on real estate and real estate related subjects that were published nationally through the internet to more than 45,000 real estate professionals.
Headed New Product Development for e-appraiers.net and consulted in the development of a business plan for the online appraisal division of Land America (a Fortune 500, title insurance company.)
Held seminars for major mortgage companies to train processors and underwriters in the proper review of real property appraisals to identify fraudulent and inaccurate appraisals.
Actively invested in real estate as an investor and landlord.
Currently publishing a column titled The Ethical Investor.
Author of the book Real Estate Revolutions – Rethinking Real Estate Investment Strategies and creator of the Strategy Sessions seminar series.
Author and moderator of several blogs related to growing a thriving real estate investing business..
